Annual Load Test

Annual load testing is done annually and should, for all intents and purposes, be done within the month that it is due.  During the load testing weights are used to lift a load to determine that the safe working load for which it was designed is being adhered to. .

6 Monthly inspections

 These are visual inspections only on all lifting equipment and lifting tackle done 6 months after the load testing.  This is to further certify that the moving parts and / or attachments are still in good condition and efficient working order..

Quarterly Inspections

These are conducted on all lifting tackle and loose gear below the hook or which is used at some point as an attachment.  These are inspected every 3 months..

Repairs /Service / Sales

We offer services to lifting equipment, forklifts as well as services to such.  Our sales department is equally equipped to provide you with lifting equipment and lifting tackle including installation.  These include but not limited to Electric / Manual chain  hoists and pull lifts, chain blocks, lever blocks and all manner of lifting tackle..

Annual Load testing

All Annual load tests are performed by a registered LMI in accordance with the DMR18 with the use of highly accurate and calibrated equipment or the use of certified weights.

6 Monthly Visual inspections .

The 6 monthly visual inspections are carried out by a qualified inspector and is in place to ensure the findings from the load test has not dramatically changed and that the equipment is still safe for use.

Quarterly Inspections .

These inspections are carried out every 3 months on non fixed lifting equipment by a qualified inspector. These items have specific tolerances on wear and tear that have been outlined by the SANS specification and is a high wear piece of equipment.

We also offer a 24/7 breakdown service on cranes and forklifts  as well as monthly scheduled maintenance and repairs on all lifting equipment.

This includes loose chain hoist or chain hoists attached to beams / lifting points / or “A”-Frames

Electric chain hoist.

This includes electric chain hoist on beams / lifting points / “A”-Frames.
We also supply new electric chain hoists with custom specifications, as well as offer repairs and scheduled maintenance of these units

Over Head Gantry.

These include single fall rope hoist, 2 fall rope hoist etc…
We also offer rope changes, breakdowns and new installations of complete over head gantry systems to suit your businesses needs.

Lift Trucks

All lift trucks with any safe working load. this includes their attachments ( side shift, bale clamps, rhino horns etc..)

Load Bearing Beams

This includes cantilever beams as well as crawl beams.

Tail Lifts

We offer load test and inspections as well as scheduled maintenance, 24/7 breakdown service, repairs and new installations.

Loose Lifting Tackle

We inspect all under the hook lifting attachments such as webbing slings, chain slings , steel wire rope slings, shackles, and various other below the hook attachments as well as supplying of new equipment.

Fall Arrestors

This includes safety harnesses (standard and ESKOM APPROVED ) and inertia reals
